Creating Event Types

Event types are the foundation of your scheduling system. They define the kinds of meetings you offer and how they should be scheduled.

Creating Your First Event Type

Follow these steps to create a new event type:

  1. Go to Event Types
  2. Click "Create New Event Type"
  3. Fill in the basic information:
    • Name (e.g., "30-Minute Meeting")
    • Duration
    • Description
    • Location (video call, phone, etc.)
  4. Click "Create" to save your event type

Advanced Settings

Customize your event type with these advanced options:

Scheduling

  • Buffer time before/after
  • Minimum notice period
  • Maximum days in advance
  • Time slot increments

Location

  • Video conferencing
  • Phone call
  • In-person meeting
  • Custom location

Customizing Your Event Type

  • Add a custom booking page URL
  • Set up custom questions for invitees
