Creating Event Types
Event types are the foundation of your scheduling system. They define the kinds of meetings you offer and how they should be scheduled.
Creating Your First Event Type
Follow these steps to create a new event type:
- Go to Event Types
- Click "Create New Event Type"
- Fill in the basic information:
- Name (e.g., "30-Minute Meeting")
- Duration
- Description
- Location (video call, phone, etc.)
- Click "Create" to save your event type
Event Type Settings
- Name: Keep it clear and descriptive
- Duration: Choose from preset options or set custom duration
- Description: Explain what the meeting is about
- Location: Select from video call, phone, or custom location
Advanced Settings
Customize your event type with these advanced options:
Scheduling
- Buffer time before/after
- Minimum notice period
- Maximum days in advance
- Time slot increments
Location
- Video conferencing
- Phone call
- In-person meeting
- Custom location
